    Un'altra bella giornata a Lucca. Siamo andati per la nostra passeggiata. sulle mura. (Another beautiful day in Lucca. We went for our walk on the wall). It takes approximently an hour to make a complete circle.

     We ate lunch at Allosteria. We have not eatern here before, but it had great reviews so off we went. It was excellent. So much so that we are coming back tomorrow with Sandy, the girl we met from Boston.

     In the evening we walked the streets before the Luninaria de Santa Croce procession started. All of Italy must be here. The procession lasted for more than  2 &1/2 hours. We lasted about an hour, after standing for an hour in our spot! Everyone in Lucca was participating - like the Labor Day Parade in Pittsburgh, only bigger! The last hour we could hear it from our balcony, as we relaxed sharing a prosecco!
