Fa bel tempo ancora.  (The weather is nice again.)  Questa mattina abbiamo fatto una passeggiata sulle mura.  (This morning we went for a walk on the wall.) Nel pomeriggio siamo andati alla stazione di treno per compare i biglietti a Bologna (In the afternoon we went to the train station to buy tickets to Bologna.) We take the train from Lucca to Prato, switch trains and then take the one to Bologna.  Then we had a pizza at La Tana dell'Orco. Wow, it was packed with fresh fish and very tasty. They hang up your paper place setting on the wall if you have a message. Dow tried.

Drinks on the patio and then off to dinner at La Norma, a new restaurant that we have not tried. We had the tasting menu which consists of 5 appitizers, pasta, main course and dessert. The meal was a little long - 3 hrs which even for Italians is long. The apppetizers came in a timely fashion, but there was a half hour wait between them and the pasta and the main course.   We had to realy "nurse" our wine!  The appetizers and pasta were great, the secondo was disappointing.  They must have had problems in the kitchen because the waitress was apologzing for them many times. That is the problems with trying a new restaurant - you never know but, it had great reviews. The rest of our restaurant expierence in Lucca was GREAT!
