Domenica

Questa mattina abbiamo fatto una passeggiata sulle mura (This morning we went for a walk on the wall.) Fa bel tempo. (The weather is nice).  The weather has changed since our first day here. Came across a game of baseball; but as we looked close it was not baseball but, cricket. No way we understand that game.  Then we walked the city and decided on a couple of sandwiches at La Tana Del Boia. They use sheep's milk cheese and heat the sandwich - tasty, very tasty.

Pomeriggo abbiamo visto ginnastica nella Piazza Napoleone. (In the afternoon we saw a gymnatic exhibition in the Piazza Napoleone). Those kids are really good. Also received a nice note from the lady we are renting from in Bologna on Friday. She sent train info and directions via the internet.

Back to the appartment for wine on the patio and then to Da Pasquale for dinner. La cena è stata ottima . (Dinner was the best.)  We started with a complimentary sparlking chardonnay.  Dow had seafood salad and then seafood on pasta. I had ravioli with truffles and then monk fish. I can not tell you how good it was. I ate so slow as I did not want the dinner to end. Pasquale gave us a complementary dessert and then 2 dessert wines the second of which was a 1927 sherry, yes, I said 1927! Huge but, well rounded and multi layered flavors.

What a day!
