Got up early and found that he power went off during the night.  Forunatly there is enough light from the windows to see. An hour later we saw Deborah across the  terrace and she came and fixed it. Off to the train station at 9:15. It is an 1/2 hr walk.  Our train was to leave  at 10:31 so we had time to figure out the track #. Off to Prato switch trains - we just caught the 11:40 to Bologna. Rain in Bologna and the 24 min. walk took us about 75 minutes (after missing 2 streets). Our hosts are really sweet and we have a room and private bath.  62 stairs to the apartment but, who is counting - Dow is always counting. After crashing for an hour off to the center of the city. We walked to Piazza Maggiore and it is impressive with buildings, church and the piazza. Across the street we saw an Apple Store, small world. Walked around and had a quick snack and then off to find a restaurant our hosts recommended, Trattoria dal Biassanot. Ci piace la trattoria (We liked the trattoria) It is famous for fresh homemade pasta so Dow had lasagna in meat sauce and then roasted young goat. I had ravoli with cheese & lemon sauce and then wild boar & polenta. WOW!

Found our way back to our room and had a good night rest after 18,249 steps but who is counting - Dow's fitbit is!
